The Letterboxd data you connect: your public watchlist and diary, so CUE can find the films you and your friends want to watch and load your library quickly.

And the everyday signals that keep the service working, like the films you save and the clubs you start.

How we use it

To run the features you've asked for: finding what you and your friends want to watch, planning nights in and out, and keeping your history in one place.

To grow the shared film library, so the next person who looks up a film gets an instant answer. That library is kept separate from who brought a film in first.

What we'll never do

We won't sell your personal information.

We won't serve you targeted advertising.

We won't hand your data to anyone else beyond what it takes to run the service you've asked for.

Other services

CUE reads public data from Letterboxd, TMDB, OMDB, and similar services. Those services have their own privacy policies. CUE isn't affiliated with them, and we only read what's already public.

Keeping it and removing it

Your account and its data stay while your account exists. Deleting your account removes the data tied to you. Films already cached in the shared library may remain so the service keeps working for everyone.

You can change or clear anything you've connected at any time, and you can delete your account whenever you like.
